Yesterday, PLUS Accelerator in Resen had the pleasure of hosting students from the Wireless Networks course at the University of Information Science and Technology “St. Paul the Apostle” in Ohrid.
During the visit, the students had the opportunity to explore IoT Smart Agriculture solutions and learn more about the practical applications of wireless communication technologies in modern agriculture.
Through a hands-on presentation and field demonstration, they gained insight into how IoT systems, sensors, and wireless networks can support smarter, more efficient, and more sustainable agricultural production.
The visit also demonstrated the potential of the PLUS Accelerator as a space where students, researchers, organisations, businesses, and other interested groups can explore emerging technologies, exchange knowledge, and develop innovative ideas and solutions, with a particular focus on supporting innovation and digital transformation in rural areas.
PLUS Accelerator, operated by PREDA Plus, is open to universities, organisations, teams, and other interested groups wishing to learn more about IoT technologies, smart agriculture, and innovative digital solutions.
In addition to its IoT laboratory and demonstration infrastructure, PLUS Accelerator also provides space for organising events, presentations, workshops, meetings, and other collaborative activities.
