The third day of AFP training was on Food Quality and Safety Systems (GMP, HACCP) and the lecturer was Prof. Sonja Srbinovska, PhD (Faculty of Agricultural Science and Food – Skopje, R. of Macedonia.
The topics were as follows: Food safety; The HACCP Approach; Pre-Requisite Programs vs. HACCP;
Food Safety and Food Quality; Unacceptable Foods; What are the Hazards in our Food? Controlling the Hazards (biological; chemical and physical hazards); Primary production; Good Agricultural Practices; Primary production/harvesting areas, etc.
During these period there were realized three (3) site visits:
Organic farm / Vineyard- surrounding area of Bitola
Dairy processing factory in Bitola and
Field visit: Visit to rural tourism area in Vila Dihovo
