Representatives of PREDA Plus Foundation on 11th of June 2015 were part of a regional consultative meeting for establishment of a National Rural Network (NRN). The meeting is one of the four meetings that provides consultation with representatives of various sectors of the planning regions in the country.
As part of IPARD II, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water with technical assistance from the European Union through the project NIMS supports the creation of National Rural Network in Macedonia.
The aim of this network is to bring together key actors in the field of rural development (civic organizations, local and national institutions, the business sector, etc.) in order to enable greater contribution to improving the effectiveness of policies and programs for rural development.
National Rural Network will have local offices that will work on better monitoring of the effects and challenges in the implementation of rural programs.
NIMS project is funded by the European Union, and is being implemented by a consortium of IPARD led by NIRAS IC Sp. z oo, with the support of Foundation programs to support agriculture (FAPA), Poland and Epicenter, Macedonia.
